Castles Under Siege

UNPLANNED GLITCHES IN FUNDRAISING EVENTS CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS. BUT THE GLITCH IN THIS ONE IS MURDER

Gabrielle Matthews is a London, England event planner. Her current project, a charity fund-raiser in Northumberland, is disrupted by the mysterious pull-out of a major sponsor. The situation becomes deadly serious when she wakes up in a hotel room beside the sponsor’s body…her fingers wrapped around the knife that killed him. Gabrielle’s brother Sam, a Scotland Yard detective, comes to help when she is arrested, accompanied by private investigator Riley Morgan.

Riley and Gabrielle have already felt sparks and Riley is soon looking for the real killer and protecting Gabrielle now that she is a murder suspect and the target of increasing threats. Amid a live chess game at a medieval castle, with knights on real horseback and a fashion show with a twist, Gabrielle and Riley have to not only stay alive but somehow find a way to make a relationship in the middle of danger work.
